About
Born and raised in Australia, Dr. Leigh Beveridge grew up in an environment that valued curiosity, compassion, and learning — qualities that continue to guide his work in global biotech leadership. After earning degrees in Biomedical Science (Monash University) and Medicine (University of Tasmania), followed by a Master of Medicine from the University of Sydney and an MBA from UC Davis, Leigh built a career defined by innovation and impact. As a Drug Development Physician and Medical Director, he leads programs that unite scientific discovery with human purpose. Beyond his professional achievements, he is a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion in STEM, a mentor to early-career researchers, and an active supporter of organizations such as Lifeline Australia and the American Diabetes Association. His creative interests — from dance and design thinking to travel and writing — reflect a belief that science and art share a common goal: to connect people and inspire change.
